More than 160 single-family homes planned for future Cornelius development

CORNELIUS, N.C. — A local developer is planning another residential development in the Charlotte region.

An entity affiliated with The Bayard Group, which is based in the Charlotte area, is seeking to rezone 90.2 acres in Cornelius to accommodate a new residential development called Mayes Meadow. The project calls for 163 single-family, detached homes at the site, which is located off Mayes Road.
