CHARLOTTE, N.C. — When North Carolina lawmakers head back to Raleigh on Tuesday, they will be greeted by a familiar message.
Moral Monday protestors spent their Labor Day spotlighting what they call devastating for North Carolina workers.
They called this their 16th installment of massive protests that resulted in more than 900 arrests and pointed out how they think lawmakers' actions have hurt workers across the state.
Lawmakers are meeting on Tuesday to override two vetoes by Gov. Pat McCrory, one requiring drug testing for those who receive welfare and another expanding the definition of seasonal labor.
