Mooresville’s first coworking space to open at renovated mill

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Merino Mill has teamed up with nonprofit LaunchLKN to open Mooresville’s first coworking space.

That venture will be known as MillWorks.

Plans call for 60,000 square feet to be dedicated to that initiative, with the mill upfitting the space, including design and furniture. The design will take advantage of the mill’s high ceilings and large windows.

LaunchLKN will provide the programming.
