MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Video footage shows a woman trimming bushes in her Mooresville yard when a snake suddenly pops out of the shrubs and bites her.
Heatherly Noble said when it happened, she instantly stepped back, only to fall from a step ladder.

“Unfortunately, I was four feet up and stepped back into thin air,” Noble said. “My right knee didn’t make it. I’m in a hip-and-ankle brace right now and really can’t get around very well.”
Noble didn’t have her cellphone, but her neighbor came to help her out.
