The festival is set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 21.
Charlotte Pride said the vaccines will not be offered inside the festival.
They will be offered by public health officials at an offsite location, adjacent to the festival and Pride zone.
This announcement comes after the White House said that an extra 2,000 vaccine doses are coming to Charlotte as they target cities hosting LGBTQ events.
