Missing SC dog that jumped out of car window found in Miami

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. — A missing South Carolina dog that jumped out of a car window was found in Miami, Florida, WCIV reported.

Earlier in July, a dog named Belle jumped out of her owner’s car window in Charleston. The owner, a 90-year-old woman, recently got the dog after her dog of 16 years died.

After a long search the dog was found in Miami, the woman’s son said.

Some people were traveling through Charleston and heading to Miami when they grabbed Belle out of traffic. They said they were scared the dog was going to be hit.

They were able to find Belle’s owner on social media.

The dog and its owner is expected to be reunited Monday.
