Michael Jordan sells mansion at steep discount

CHICAGO — Sorry, but you’ve missed your chance to move to Chicago and live like Air Jordan — at a discount.

Michael Jordan’s mansion just outside Chicago has finally sold to a 42-year-old real estate executive.

The Daily Herald, which covers the Chicagoland suburbs, reported that the mansion sold for $9.5 million on Dec. 10. While that’s plenty of cash, it’s far below the $29 million Jordan originally sought in 2012.
