CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After decades as a fixture in north Charlotte, the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo is closing.
The facility on north Statesville Road was home to various shows and carnivals throughout the years.
Many of the vendors said they'll be sad to see it go.
We talked to one man who drove all the way from Tampa for one last time at expo center.
“I know a lot of the vendors that come here will miss the venue, It’s always been a great place sort of a family style atmosphere,” he said.
The owner hasn't said who bought the property or what their plans are for the location.
