CHARLOTTE N.C. — Developers of a new plan to revitalize Brooklyn Village will launch a series of community meetings with the first one Thursday night at the Government Center in Charlotte.
“It's a tricky thing I don't think we have it entirely figured out and we've made our best efforts so far, and we're looking forward to input and getting it as close to right as we possibly can get it,” Monte Ritchey, president of Conformity Corp, said at Thursday night's meeting.

Developers want to hear the public’s input on the project that includes two hotels, new condos, a park and office and retail space.
People have voiced concerns about keeping the character of Charlotte's Second Ward.
