CHARLOTTE — A person has been seriously hurt following a shooting in Uptown Charlotte early Saturday morning, according to MEDIC.
The incident occurred just after 3:30 a.m. on North Tryon Street, near Montford Pointe Street.

MEDIC said the victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear what led up to this shooting.
