CHARLOTTE — One person was taken to the hospital after an early morning crash in north Charlotte on Thursday, MEDIC says.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the crash happened around 4 a.m. on North Tryon Street near Stetson Drive. The inbound lanes of North Tryon Street are closed while officers investigate the crash.

MEDIC took one emergency patient to Atrium CMC Main. Channel 9 has reached out to learn more about that person’s condition.
A Channel 9 news crew live at the scene saw multiple patrol cars and crime tape separating the scene where officers were working.
CMPD has not released the cause of the crash or if anyone else was injured.
