CHARLOTTE — A person has been seriously hurt in a shooting in west Charlotte Saturday afternoon.
It happened just before 3 p.m. on Catherine Simmons Avenue near Beatties Ford Road.
MEDIC said the victim was taken to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
No additional details have been made available.
