CHARLOTTE — A park at the old Eastland Mall site will be one step closer to happening.
Charlotte City Council will vote on Monday to transfer four-and-a-half acres of Eastland Yards to Mecklenburg County.

The county has promised more than $12 million dollars to this project.
The park will be located on Central Avenue near the bus bay.
