Mayoral candidate Stephanie de Sarachaga-Bilbao talks platform in sit-down interview

CHARLOTTE — Voting is underway for Charlotte’s election and Channel 9 is helping you get to know the candidates running.

Reporter Joe Bruno sat down with Stephanie de Sarachaga-Bilbao last week. She is a Republican running for Charlotte mayor against incumbent Democrat Vi Lyles.

She said her platform is based on public safety and improving the quality of life in the city.

“My top priority is to make this city, you know, something we’ve never seen before. It’s a great city, but we can do, we can do so much better,” Sarachaga-Bilbao said.
