MATTHEW, N.C. — A 23-year-old man who had been reported missing has been found safe, according to the Matthews Police Department.
Police said Malik Andrea Walker was last seen at the Extended Stay on Matthews Mint Hill Road around 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

Just after 5 p.m. Sunday, police announced that Walker had been safely located.
