STANFIELD, N.C. — An armed man, who forced his way into a Stanly County home Sunday night and ordered two adults and two children on the floor at gunpoint, has not been caught.

The violent home invasion happened at a house on Yow Road in Stanfield at about 8:30 p.m., investigators said.
The masked suspect robbed the family of several items then fled.
The sheriff said an elderly man inside may have suffered a heart attack and is still in the hospital.
