CONOVER, N.C. — Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday night at a Dollar General in Catawba County.
Officials said a masked man held employees at gunpoint at closing time at the Conover store and forced them back into the business.
Authorities said they are reviewing surveillance video at the store Monday.
Police have not said what the robber took from the store.
Officials said the incident is similar to a robbery that happened two weeks ago in Hildebran.
