MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A local Marine injured in Afghanistan received a special gift Saturday.
A Myrtle Beach woman donated a handicapped-accessible minivan to Corporal Garrett Carnes.
The Mooresville native lost both legs in an explosion.
Last month, hundreds of people filled the streets of Mooresville to honor Carnes during a welcome home celebration.
