ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — A manhunt ended in Alexander County Wednesday afternoon after deputies arrested a man accused of assaulting his wife.
Sheriff’s deputies used dogs to search for Zachary Moser along Highway 64.

They said he assaulted his wife and then broke into a nearby home with small children inside to elude police.
Moser also faces charges in Catawba County of kidnapping, resisting arrest and attempted assault on a law enforcement officer.
