CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte man has won $1 million from a scratch-off, according to reports from the North Carolina Education Lottery.
Jerry Mullins said he tried his luck and purchased a $10 Multiplier Mania scratch-off from the Food Lion on Johnston Road.
On Thursday, Mullians arrived at the lottery headquarters and chose the lump-sum amount of $600,000. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he said he took home over $400,000.
