CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man is expected to survive after police said someone stabbed him outside his north Charlotte apartment early Monday.
Police were called around 3 a.m. to the scene on Countryside Drive, just off North Tryon Street and Tom Hunter Road.
Officers found the victim, who had been stabbed several times.

Investigators told Channel 9 the man was going into his apartment when three other men may have tried to rob him.
Eyewitness News saw Medic rush the victim to the hospital, where he underwent surgery, police said.

K-9 units were brought to the neighborhood in an effort to find the three suspects, but no arrests have been made.
