Man served warrants in connection with 2007 Rock Hill homicide

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A man in connection with a 2007 homicide is in custody in the Rock Hill Jail, police said Tuesday.

Rock Hill police said a 19-year-old man was shot and killed Aug. 26, 2007, inside a home in the 400 block of Kimbrell Street.

Rock Hill police identified Michael Jerrod Dixon as one of the suspects.

Dixon has been incarcerated on other charges in FCI Williamsburg and was released to Rock Hill police custody on Tuesday.

Dixon was taken to the Rock Hill Jail and served with warrants for murder, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of firearm during a crime of violence and assault and battery with intent to kill.

Dixon’s bond hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
