CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was seriously hurt when he fell from a staircase at the EpiCentre in uptown Charlotte.
Police told Channel 9 the man had been drinking.
Authorities said he was attempting to slide down the railing, but flipped over the banister and fell more than 20 feet to the ground.
He hit his head and was unconscious when paramedics took him to the hospital, police said.
