IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Iredell County emergency crews received a call Friday just before 11:30 a.m. about a man struggling in the water near Lake Norman State Park.
When officials arrived, they confirmed the man was no longer in the water, but his truck and trailer were submerged in the lake.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over Lake Norman and could see the trailer in the water under a boat.
Crews could also be seen putting on safety gear to pull the truck out of the water.
It is unclear how the vehicle and trailer got into the lake.
