HICKORY, N.C. — A man with a handgun robbed the Members Credit Union on 12th Avenue Northeast in Hickory at about 4:30 p.m. Monday, police said.
He fled the scene on foot.
Police said the robber is a white man, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt, black jogging pants, black-rimmed glasses, a fake beard and a hat and he had a backpack.
