BADIN, N.C. — Police are looking for a man who they said tried to kill another man in Badin Saturday afternoon.
The Badin police chief said Jermaine Goode shot Keaundre McKillian in the upper leg on Mayo Street, and then reloaded his gun and attempted to shoot McKillian “execution style.”
The gun jammed, so Goode reloaded it, but it misfired and he ran off, according to police.
McKillian was taken to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte and is expected to be OK.
