ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A man on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Most Wanted List was arrested in Winston-Salem.
Perry Simmons, 52, left the address where he was registered as a sex offender in January 2016, officials said. Deputies were unable to find Simmons.
In March, Simmons was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure in Winston-Salem. Police found he was wanted in Rowan County and served the felony warrants on Simmons for failing to notify of address changed.
Simmons remains in the Forsyth County Jail and will be returned to Salisbury to face the new charges.
