YORK COUNTY, S..C — The York County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died in a crash on Monday.
The crash occurred on Lockhart Road near Highway 97.
According to the coroner’s office, 56-year-old Jerry Byars was involved in a two-vehicle collision.
Byars would later die from injuries sustained in that collision.
The coroner’s office said it is working with South Carolina Highway Patrol to investigate the crash.
