LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — A man died Sunday after being thrown from his car, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the wreck happened around 2:52 a.m.The Lancaster County coroner identified the man as Otis Lamar Patterson, 44.
Patterson was driving a 1969 Chevy southbound on Lynwood Drive when he ran off the left side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned. He then struck a tree and was ejected, according to troopers.
Patterson was pronounced dead at the scene.
