HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A worker died on the job in Huntersville Friday afternoon.
OSHA officials said an employee of Huntersville hardwoods on Old Statesville and McCord roads was struck and killed by a forklift.
Police and OSHA spent the afternoon Friday investigating how the death happened.
According to OSHA’s website, Huntersville Hardwoods has not had any serious violations since 1997, but the company was fined for three serious violations between 1996 and 1997.
