Man killed by stray bullet in Stanly County, police say

A man was killed after he was struck by a stray bullet in Stanly County Friday night, police said.

The shooting happened on Clover Lane near Mini Airport Road just before 8:45 p.m.

Police said no one else was injured.

There have not been any arrests.

Officials are investigating, but say it didn’t appear to be an intentional shooting.
