WANTED: Second teen sought in connection with Salisbury homicide

SALISBURY, N.C. — Salisbury police announced Tuesday they're searching for a second teenage suspect in connection with a a homicide over the weekend.

Police have warrants on Xavier Dionne Lowe, 17, for murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.

He's wanted for the shooting death of Kornell Cook Sunday night at the Brenner Crossing apartment community on Williams Road.

Officers have already arrested 18-year-old Elija-wn Unique Oglesby in the case. He turned himself into the Salisbury Police Department Monday night.

He is charged with murder and discharging a weapon into occupied property.

Police said Cook was shot outside a family member's home.

Authorities have not said what led up to the shooting or the motive.
