GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A man has died after an accident at a worksite in Gaston County, according to officials.
Gaston County Public Safety responded to Hooper Hill Road in the Dallas area on Tuesday around 12 p.m. for an accident at a worksite.
Channel 9 learned from Gastonia police that it happened at Hooper’s Used Auto Parts.
Joseph Carl Marrone Jr., of Weddington, was suffering from life-threatening injuries. Life-saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful.
Officials are investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact crime stoppers at 704-861-8000.
