MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Police arrested a man they said crashed into a car, pulled out a gun and got into a fight with the other driver.
Mooresville police said it happened Saturday when Robert Garmon, 34, crashed his truck into a car on East Plaza Drive.
Both cars drove down to Oak Ridge Farm Highway. The other driver then got out of the car and approached Garmon.
Police said Garmon showed a gun to the unidentified driver.
The other driver “engaged” Garmon and the gun fired. The other driver overpowered Garmon and took away the handgun, police said.
Garmon was arrested and charged with a DWI. More charges are pending.
