HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A man has been charged after stabbing an employee at a 7-Eleven in Huntersville Friday, police said.
Officers were called just before noon to the convenience store on Sam Furr Road in response to an assault with a deadly weapon.
Once they got to the scene, they found a victim who had been stabbed in their neck, officials said. They were taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and are in critical condition, according to police.

Suspect in custody! After a nearly 2 hour, intense search our officers located the suspect.
Authorities said Kevin Davis, 39, fled the scene and after a two-hour search, was found near a CATS Park and Ride off of Northcross Drive.
Davis was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

Davis is being held at the Mecklenburg County jail.
