Hart-O'Sullivan had worked at MEDIC in Charlotte since 2010 and most recently served as a relief operations supervisor.
Ambulances and firetrucks flashed their lights outside and there was a tribute Friday for Hart-O’Sullivan inside Concord First Assembly Church.
Police said her husband, Patrick O'Sullivan, shot and killed her at their home last week.
On Friday night, Hart-O’Sullivan was remembered for her commitment and dedication.
“Rebekah had a strong commitment to her co-workers and was dedicated to serving the people of Mecklenburg County,” said Joe Penner, executive director of the Mecklenburg Emergency Medical Service Agency. “Her absence will leave an empty space in the hearts of our employees, her friends and family for many years to come.”
Her husband, Patrick O'Sullivan, is charged with murder. Authorities said he shot Rebekah last week after an argument at their home on Todd Drive.
