Man accused of kidnapping NC woman, holding her for sexual servitude

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A North Carolina woman is in the hospital after she escaped a man deputies said kidnapped her earlier this week.

It happened on Tuesday morning in Davidson County, just outside of Rowan County.

Deputies went out to a building owned by Kevin Michael for a report of a woman being attacked.

As they arrived, the woman plowed an SUV out of the garage door and hit an officer. The other officer fired at the SUV when it did not stop, hitting the woman.

Arrest warrants show Michael kidnapped the woman and held her for sexual servitude.
