CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg School student ran into stopped car while waiting at a bus stop Wednesday morning on Carolina Lilly Lane and Mill Cove Circle, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
The student was a second-grader at Mallard Creek Elementary.
CMPD said the student was taken to the hospital and has non-life threatening injuries.
Police said this incident is not being worked as a traffic accident or Hit and Run.
