LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Lancaster County Council gave final nods this week for a large mixed-use project from Crosland Southeast.
The council unanimously approved the third readings for ordinances regarding a rezoning, master development plan and development agreement for The Exchange at Indian Land. The mixed-use project would be developed on a 130-acre site at 8918 Charlotte Highway, about 3 miles south of Red Ventures’ headquarters. The approvals are the culmination of a months-long public meetings process for the project.

The master plan for The Exchange at Indian Land shows the project will include over 700 residential units and approximately 105,000 square feet of commercial space. The development agreement states that Crosland is allowed to develop up to 400 apartments and 320 townhomes at the project. Other documents state that the project will include 710 total units, with 390 apartments and 320 townhomes.
