‘A major mistake’: COVID-19 survivors say reopening NC now is too soon

CHARLOTTE — Two people who recovered from the COVID-19 virus said calls for North Carolina to reopen now are misguided.

“I think they are making a major mistake,” Judge Donnie Hoover, 70, said. “I can’t tell you how big a mistake that’s gonna be.”

"I was really sick to the point where I felt like maybe I could die,” Raven McGregor said. “I could have died."
