CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As travel begins to pick up after a long struggle for the industry through the Covid-19 pandemic, several lodging options in the Carolinas — including one right here in Charlotte — are included on a list of the best places to stay.
The Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards for Hotels by Tripadvisor puts The Ivey’s Hotel at No. 7 among its picks for the top 10 hotels in the U.S. for 2021.

At No. 4 on the Tripadvisor list is the French Quarter Inn in Charleston, South Carolina. And, on a breakout list of hotels by category, Charleston’s Emeline gets a nod as the highest-ranked U.S. hotel on the worldwide list of Hottest New Hotels.
