HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Lowes Foods will debut its new concept store in Huntersville on Feb. 18.
It opens at 8 a.m that day. The 25,000-square-foot store is at 14021 Boren St. — formerly home to Earth Fare.

It will be the first store of its kind for the Winston-Salem-based grocer. The store boasts a smaller footprint than a traditional Lowes Foods store, but it will provide a complete shopping experience and a number of special features.
“We call this the Swiss Army Knife of grocery stores. We will have a tool for what you need to do,” says Tim Lowe, president.
