Longtime Charlotte restaurateur debuts new concept in Plaza Midwood

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Restaurateur Lincoln Clark has tapped into his love of European street food for a new venture in Plaza Midwood.

The Good Wurst Co., a take on the classic New York-style deli, opened this week.

It is located at 3001 Central Ave., at the corner of Central and Arnold Drive. That space was formerly home to a laundromat.

“It’s the real deal,” said Clark. Good Wurst is the first solo venture for the longtime restaurateur. He’s also one of the owners of Charlotte-based Fuel Pizza.
