CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The sister of a Charlotte woman injured in the Boston Marathon bombings is leaving the hospital Monday.
Erika Brannock, who is from Baltimore, lost a leg in the April 15 explosions.
She and her sister Nicole Gross were waiting for their mother at the finish line when the bombs went off.
Brannock is the last survivor to leave the hospital.
Channel 9 was there two weeks ago when Nicole returned home to Charlotte.
She suffered two broken legs and a severed Achilles tendon.
Starting Monday, some local pizza restaurants will raise money to support the bombing victims.
California Pizza Kitchen plans to donate 20 percent of each bill from now until Thursday.
Channel 9 stopped by the Sharon Road location in Charlotte. All of the money raised will go the One Fund.
That is the fund which was set up to raise money for the Boston victims.
"Those of us down here in North Carolina don't necessarily have the direct access to be able to help out with the One Fund, so this is a great way for us local Charlotteans to be able to help out," said a restaurant employee.
California Pizza Kitchen has locations all across the East Coast, including one in Boston near the site of the deadly explosions.
