CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Knights started this season hoping to get back to 75% of pre-pandemic revenue after Covid-19 wiped out all of 2020 and left significant dents last year. It’s still early, but, as the Knights begin a 12-game homestand tonight, initial results have been encouraging.

Through the team’s first 12 home dates, Charlotte leads all of Triple-A baseball in attendance with an average of 7,613 fans per game at 10,000-capacity Truist Field — or 91,538 combined.
