Area musicians and artists are struggling as more and more people isolate and distance themselves from others.

Travis Motley saw a way to help both groups, by putting his studio in Kannapolis to work. Motley has been inviting local artists into his home studio to perform on Facebook Live.

Normally a performer himself, Motley is now an audience of one, but using his equipment to mix the session, he's providing a high-quality stream of an intimate concert using the power of music to give people watching at home a brief but much needed respite.
