CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tryon Medical Partners began administering its first Covid-19 vaccines this week.
Charlotte-based Tryon, an independent physicians group, received 200 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Tuesday and began administering it to staff and patients. The doses were transferred from the Mecklenburg County Health Department. Another batch of at least 200 doses will be transferred from the county next week, said Dr. Dale Owen, CEO at Tryon.
