CHARLOTTE — All week long, a local high schooler is leading by example, empowering younger girls with the tools they need to be leaders.
Kamryn Burton organized the entire, weeklong summit at Reeder Memorial Baptist Church in north Charlotte. Burton is a rising senior at Northwest School of the Arts in Washington Heights.
“I think we would have a lot more female leaders in the world if more women knew that they were capable,” she said.
