CHARLOTTE — A local group is making sure our veterans have stable, affordable housing once they return from service.
“It’s helping people realize the opportunity they didn’t think was possible,” said Floyd Davis, CEO and President of Community Link.

He said being able to get veterans into an affordable home is possible thanks to an anonymous builder who wants to do something to help vets.
“They build and donate two houses to Community Link each year,” Davis said. “We sell those houses to veterans who come through our programs. We sell that home to a veteran at market price, but we assist that veteran is getting into that home.”
