Local elementary school teacher charged with child sex crimes

ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — State investigators have charged an Ansonville Elementary School teacher with child sex crimes.

Clinton Jones, 41, faces 18 separate counts of third-degree sexual exploitation.

Investigators said they found hundreds of images of child porn on smartphones, computers and other devices when they searched his Wadesboro home.

Jones is out of jail on bond.

Investigators with the SBI have not said any students are involved.

No other details have been released.
